The applicant must complete one (1) application form and sign it. Unsigned application forms will not be accepted.
Stick the photographs in the space provided, on the right hand corner of the application. Please do not use staples to affix the photographs to the forms.
Enclose original documents only. When the documents are issued in English, please enclose a translation into Spanish.
When presenting applications for a family or group, please present each application form with its relevant supporting documents attached.
The validity stated on the visa is measured from the date of issue of the visa. If the validity of the visa is longer than 3 months, the applicant must register with the DAS within 15 days of his arrival to Colombian territory.
If you have sent your visa by post, you are responsible for collecting your visa. If you do not live in London you have one option for collecting your visa:
1. You can send a Courier to collect it. You must advise us prior to the collection of the documents, give us the name of the company and specify the time of collection.
Please remember a personal interview is mandatory.
Applicants: This visa applies to foreign nationals going to Colombia for tourism. Please refer to the list of countries that do not require a tourist or temporary visitors visa.

7. DOCUMENTS THAT PROVE THE ECONOMIC MEANS OF THE APPLICANT, HIS PARENTS, LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE OR THE PERSON THAT GUARANTEES THE APPLICANT EXPENSES DURING HIS STAY IN COLOMBIA
8. WHEN THE STUDENT IS NOT AN ADULT, IT IS REQUIRED A WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION FROM THE PARENTS TO STAY IN COLOMBIA AND THE APPOINTMENT OF AN ADULT WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE KID DURING HIS STAY IN COLOMBIA.

Applicants: The visa is granted to company executives, sales executives and similar, travelling to Colombia to attend business meetings, carry out commercial activities or research. Please refer to Temporary Visitors visa in order to establish whether you have to apply for a Business Visa or a Temporary Visitor Visa. Letter of responsibility from the company stating the applicant's position, the purpose of the trip, the length of visa validity and whether single or multiple entry is required. The company must take responsibility for all the travel expenses, and include a Return Clause (model enclosed).
For an independent business person the letter must include the purpose of the trip, bank references and names of commercial contacts in Colombia.
One set of photocopies of all the documents stated above.

MODEL OF RETURN CLAUSE
(Name of company) assures the Government of Colombia that the company will defray all the expenses necessary for Mr (name of employee) and his family (if applicable) to return to his country of origin, or to his previous place of residence at the end of the contract, or in the event the visa is cancelled, or the employee is deported or expulsed, as required by the Decree 2371/1996.

If the validity of the visa exceeds 3 months, the applicant must present himself at the Department of National Security (DAS) no later than 15 days after arrival, to register the visa; and to obtain a Cédula de Extranjería (Foreigners ID).

Applicants: The Visa is best suited for people who intend to provide urgent technical assistance to a Colombian party, or for those who travel with no intention of residing permanently. This visa may be granted to individuals travelling to cover special events such as reporters, newscasters, or photographers from a registered news agency. People planning to travel in order to establish commercial and trade connections, attend academic seminars, conferences, expositions, short term studies, interviews for employment, medical treatment, or to participate in scientific, sporting and cultural events that will not be compensated, may also obtain this visa. 6. CERTIFICATE OF EXISTANCE OF THE COMPANY ISSUED BY THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (Issued within the last 90 days). IN SOME CASES, IT MAY BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS OF THE COMPANY.
