Citizens from the countries listed below who are traveling to Colombia for tourism or as a temporary visitor DO NOT require a Visa to enter the country. The mentioned before citizens will be issued with a 180 day entry permit upon arrival. Please refer to TEMPORARY VISITORS VISA for definition of Temporary visitor which includes attending work related meetings in Colombia, attending conferences our providing urgent technical assistance to Colombian companies.
Nationals from the countries that DO NOT APPEAR on this list must apply IN PERSON for a visa to enter Colombia. Please allow 5 working days to issue the Visa.
If you are not traveling as a tourist or as a temporary visitor please refer to check our list to find the appropriate visa for your circumstance. From the 1st of January 2007 Nationals from the Republic of Ireland do not require a visa to enter Colombia as a tourist or temporary visitor.

The applicant must complete two (2) application forms and sign both copies. Unsigned application forms will not be accepted. Attach the photographs in the space provided on the right-hand corner of the application form. Please do not use staples to affix the photographs to the forms. Only original documents should be submitted with one photocopy of each document. Please include a translation into Spanish of any documents issued in English. When submitting applications for a family or group, please attach supporting documents to each application form. Validity stated on visa commences on date of issue of visa. If you have sent your visa by post, you are responsible for collecting your visa. All applicants must attend personally for an interview with the Consul in London or the Consul in Dublin. Applicants outside London may arrange for visa to be collected by a courier. Please advise us prior to collection of documents of name of courier and time of collection.
